Bruce wonders if Hildy has any doubts about leaving the newspaper business and then realizes his is her first chance "to have a home and to be like you said - a human being, and I""m gonna make you take that chance. The overly-amorous farmer""s widow Miz Zeffie extends her gloved hand over Sullivan""s - he retracts his hand and folds his arms across his chest." [His character was based upon Harper Lee""s childhood friend and neighbor, Pulitzer prize-winning author Truman Capote."During the credits sequence, the grisly body parts were taken to the Federal Morgue (in Youngstown, Ohio) for an autopsy, where the Coroner Phil (Richard Gant) examined the remains that had been subjected to "extreme explosive trauma" and had third-degree burns over much of the torso.
