The story is poignantly and sentimentally told from the eyes of a six year old tom-boy - Jean Louise "Scout" Finch (9 year-old Mary Badham in her film debut).He was working with his assistant Dita Mandy (Donna Murphy).Cross traversed the rugged landscape (and crossed over a formidable mountain), arriving two days earlier than expected at an Alaskan cabin, operated by one of the other nine superagents involved in Operation Outcome.Meanwhile, Rick contracted with reluctant ex-associate Izzy Buttons (Shaun Parkes), an airline pilot for Magic Carpet Airways, to provide transportation for them, although Buttons remembered he was shot in the arse in a past job with O""Connell.At his old homestead near a marsh, the group found zombies allowed to be alive but chained up.They endlessly and mindlessly performed their previous occupations using their sense-memories - a mailman was delivering mail, a farmworker was pushing a wheelbarrow, and a wood-chopper was using an axe.
